Hiro von Hambach is a gorgeous 18 month old German Shepherd whom our trainer describes as “chill." He seems mature for his age, he meets both people and other dogs with a gentle, loving nature and an eager-to-please attitude. He is a total star in playgroups, often breaking into playful "play bows" and showing off a push-and-pull play style that makes him a great match for a pal with similar energy. Hiro likes the less rowdy play groups, but adjusts his play to other dogs. He does well with our trainers, walks well on leash, knows some commands, has recall, he is incredibly treat-motivated and already knows "sit" and "shake.” We know he was loved and well-cared for, we can see he was someone’s best buddy. He loved riding along with one of our trainers in his truck. He ended up in an animal shelter through no fault of his own; the volunteers there didn’t let us forget he was a very special dog! No kitties or small dogs.
